Grand Junction, CO – Western Colorado will enjoy another day of mostly to partly sunny skies Monday, with only a few high clouds drifting in this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Grand Junction.
Forecasters described the day as a “rinse and repeat” of Sunday, with dry and mild conditions continuing across the Western Slope. The additional cloud cover will mainly affect areas along and north of Interstate 70, including Aspen, Steamboat Springs, and Vail Pass.
Temperatures will climb into the 40s and low 50s by midafternoon, with light winds and no precipitation expected. By tonight, skies will clear again with temperatures dropping back into the 20s for many valleys and mountain communities.
Drivers and travelers can expect good visibility and dry roads, though cooler evening temperatures may bring isolated patches of frost overnight.
The next chance for any unsettled weather is expected later in the week as another system approaches from the west.
