Pueblo, CO – Warm, dry weather will dominate much of southern and eastern Colorado through the end of the workweek, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo.
Temperatures will run 10 to 15 degrees above normal across the region, with highs in the 60s and 70s for lower elevations and 50s in mountain valleys. The pleasant conditions are expected to continue through Friday, with plenty of sunshine and light winds.
Cities including Pueblo, La Junta, and Lamar will see highs in the mid-70s, while Colorado Springs and Canon City stay near 60°F. Overnight lows will remain mild, generally in the 30s and 40s.
Forecasters say a pattern change is expected to arrive around Friday night or Saturday, potentially bringing cooler air and a chance for precipitation. Until then, the region remains under dry and stable conditions, ideal for outdoor activity but continuing to increase fire danger in some areas.
