Colorado Springs, CO – Colorado residents can enjoy another stretch of warm, sunny weather this week, but storm chances return by Friday night. With Halloween season underway, locals should prepare for changing fall conditions as the weekend approaches.

According to the National Weather Service, high pressure will keep skies clear and temperatures near 78 degrees through Thursday. Conditions remain calm for central and southern Colorado, but a strong southwest flow is expected to bring breezy winds Friday, followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms late Friday night into Saturday.

The storm system could also drop light snow over higher mountain passes, which may affect weekend travel for hikers, hunters, and leaf peepers heading into the Rockies. Drivers on I-25 and U.S. Highway 50 should monitor forecasts closely for possible wet or slick conditions late Friday.

Five-Day Colorado Springs Forecast
