Denver, CO – Colorado residents should prepare for a hot weekend followed by a cooling trend beginning on Monday. Highs in Denver will reach 92°F Saturday, dropping to 88°F Sunday. A scattered thunderstorm is possible each afternoon and evening through Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will cool starting Monday, with highs dropping to 87°F. This cooling trend will continue through the week, with highs expected to average near or slightly below normal. By Wednesday, Denver should see highs around 86°F, with a drier pattern setting in by Tuesday.

Outside of Denver, temperatures across Colorado will follow a similar pattern. Fort Collins will peak at 91°F on Saturday before dropping to 83°F Monday. Boulder will see a high of 88°F Saturday, cooling to 81°F by Monday. Scattered thunderstorms remain likely through Monday, but precipitation chances will decrease starting Tuesday.
