Snow totals will range from 4 to 10 inches in the mountains, with 6 to 14 inches possible in parts of Jackson and western Grand counties. Locally higher amounts could fall on favored peaks. Roads over Berthoud Pass and Rabbit Ears Pass may turn slick quickly. Plan extra time if heading west.
Denver itself stays mostly sunny today with a high near 61 degrees. Conditions remain dry across the metro through tonight. Thursday introduces a 30 percent chance of rain after late morning, with highs near 59. Cooler air follows Thursday night as temperatures dip into the low 30s.
Valentine’s Weekend trends quieter. Friday brings a slight rain chance and a high near 56. Saturday turns sunny and cooler near 58, then milder Sunday with highs in the mid-60s.
