According to the National Weather Service in Pueblo, scattered thunderstorms will develop over the central and southern mountains by mid-afternoon Sunday, especially in higher terrain near the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Wet Mountains, and Rampart Range. Monday’s high in Colorado Springs is forecast to hit 86°F, and Tuesday climbs even higher to 81°F with calm, dry conditions.
