Denver, CO – High winds and unseasonably warm temperatures are set to impact the Denver metro and Front Range this week, bringing possible travel hazards. Wind gusts could reach up to 50 mph Monday and Wednesday, particularly in higher elevations.

According to the National Weather Service, winds between 40 and 60 mph will move from the mountains into the foothills Monday night, with some gusts reaching 75 mph at higher elevations. Warmer temperatures are expected throughout the week, with highs near 70°F on Tuesday and climbing into the upper 60s through the weekend.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny and breezy. High near 69°F, with southwest winds increasing to 18 mph. Gusts could reach 30 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, cooler. High near 50°F. Winds up to 22 mph.

Thursday: Sunny and warmer. High near 64°F. Lows in the low 30s.

Friday: Mostly sunny, high around 68°F. Winds remain calm.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a high of 64°F.
