Starting Tuesday morning, April 15, residents along the I-25 corridor—including Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Canon City—should prepare for active spring weather. According to the National Weather Service in Pueblo, a 20 percent chance of rain and isolated thunderstorms may bring brief gusts up to 40 mph over higher terrain. Winds will shift from southeast to south in the afternoon, with temperatures nearing 70°F.

By Wednesday, skies will remain mostly sunny with highs around 75°F. Breezy southwest winds of 10 to 20 mph are expected, increasing wildfire risk in southern counties.
