According to the National Weather Service, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 5 p.m. Tuesday to 11 a.m. Wednesday for Pueblo, El Paso, and Fremont counties. Snow totals are expected to range between 2 and 4 inches, with localized higher amounts possible. Commuters along I-25 and Highway 50 should prepare for icy roads and low visibility.
By Wednesday morning, temperatures will drop to 11°F, with wind chills making it feel below zero. Light snow may linger into Wednesday afternoon before conditions clear. Thursday will bring partly sunny skies, but another round of rain and snow is expected Friday into the weekend.
