West winds are expected to reach 30 to 40 mph, with gusts up to 65 mph. Relative humidity will drop to 10 to 15 percent, heightening the risk of rapid fire spread. Firefighters advise against any outdoor burning during these conditions.
The combination of gusty winds, dry air, and warm temperatures could lead to extreme fire behavior. Local authorities are advising residents to stay vigilant and to report any signs of fire immediately.
