Pueblo, CO – After a mild and mostly dry stretch through midweek, southern and central Colorado are bracing for a cooler and potentially snowy weekend, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo.

Tuesday remains cool and dry, with highs ranging from the upper 30s to low 50s and only a dusting of snow possible in the central mountains. Forecasters expect a brief warming trend Wednesday through Friday, with highs reaching the 50s and low 60s across the plains.

However, beginning Friday night into Saturday, a new system is expected to bring cooler temperatures and a chance of accumulating mountain snow, with precipitation probabilities climbing to 55–75% by Saturday in areas such as Leadville, Trinidad, and Lamar.

While snowfall totals remain uncertain, the NWS cautions that travelers returning from Thanksgiving gatherings should monitor forecasts closely as conditions may deteriorate late in the weekend.
