Centennial, CO – A dramatic crash sent an SUV through the front window of a mattress store Tuesday evening after a two-car collision on 7400 S. University Blvd., according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office. The incident happened around 5:00 p.m., drawing a response from both sheriff’s deputies and South Metro Fire Rescue.

According to deputies, the crash began as a two-vehicle impact along the roadway. Immediately after the collision, one of the vehicles veered off the road, crossed the sidewalk, and slammed directly into the window of the BBD Mattress Factory. Photos from the scene show extensive glass and debris scattered inside the store, with the SUV coming to rest among display beds and furniture.

Fire crews assessed the building while deputies evaluated those involved. Despite the severity of the crash and the significant damage to the storefront, officials say no injuries were reported—including both drivers and anyone inside the business at the time of the crash.

City workers examined the building shortly after the incident and determined the mattress store sustained no structural damage, though repairs to the front windows and interior displays will be required.

The sheriff’s office did not release additional details regarding potential citations or contributing factors, and the investigation remains ongoing.
