Pueblo, CO – A winter storm is moving through southern Colorado, bringing snow overnight into Friday morning. Drivers on Highway 50 should prepare for slick conditions, with reduced visibility and hazardous roads expected before the morning commute.
According to the National Weather Service, snowfall will taper off by mid-morning Friday, with gradual clearing and a high near 44°F. Friday night will be mostly clear, with temperatures dropping to 17°F. By Saturday, sunshine returns with highs reaching 55°F, followed by another clear night.
Sunday marks a significant warm-up, with sunny skies and a high of 65°F. The warming trend continues Monday, reaching 70°F. Winds will remain light throughout the weekend.
Drivers should use caution Friday morning, as icy spots could persist on roads. Those planning outdoor activities will enjoy the sunny, warmer conditions by Saturday afternoon.
