Colorado Springs, CO – Storms firing near the Palmer Divide and Pikes Peak Sunday could bring hail, 60 mph winds, and flash flooding along Highway 50.
According to the National Weather Service in Pueblo, strong to severe storms will develop over higher terrain early Sunday afternoon and drift east toward the Plains. Showers and storms are expected to be widespread, especially after 1 p.m., with localized risks of large hail and damaging outflow winds.
