Colorado Springs, CO — A spring Red Flag Warning remains in effect through 8 p.m. Monday, placing El Paso County and the I-25 corridor on alert.

The National Weather Service has flagged dangerous fire weather due to gusty winds and low humidity. With northeast winds reaching 30 mph and humidity dropping to 10%, residents should avoid open flames and secure outdoor equipment. These elevated fire conditions are expected to ease by late Monday evening.

According to the National Weather Service in Pueblo, dry and breezy conditions will continue into Monday with highs reaching 77°F before temperatures dip to 34°F overnight. Skies will remain partly cloudy with slight chances of rain and snow developing again Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Drivers along I-25 and US 24 should expect reduced visibility from blowing dust and strong crosswinds. Those traveling during peak afternoon hours on Monday should use caution, especially near open terrain.

Tuesday brings another round of breezy conditions and potential light precipitation, with temperatures hovering in the low 70s. Wednesday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high of 76°F, while Thursday continues the trend of clear skies and highs in the mid-70s.
