Colorado Springs, CO – The National Weather Service in Pueblo has released updated snowfall reports from this week’s storm system, showing widespread snow across south-central and southeast Colorado, with the heaviest totals concentrated along the Front Range and mountain foothills.

According to early reports, areas near Castle Rock, Colorado Springs, and Monument Hill picked up between 6 and 12 inches, while portions of the Denver metro and the Palmer Divide saw totals exceeding a foot. Lighter accumulations of 1–4 inches were recorded east of I-25 and across parts of the Arkansas Valley.

Further west, mountain regions near Aspen, Glenwood Springs, and Steamboat Springs also reported moderate snow totals, contributing to already deep early-season snowpack.

The NWS advises drivers to use caution on icy roads, as lingering snow and sub-freezing temperatures continue to make travel hazardous. Many secondary roads and higher-elevation passes remain snow-packed and slick, particularly through the evening.
