Pueblo, CO – Fog and light snow are creating hazardous driving conditions along I-25 Sunday morning, reducing visibility and slickening roadways. Residents are urged to drive cautiously and expect delays, particularly in areas where fog persists into the late morning.
According to the National Weather Service, today’s weather will clear by afternoon, bringing sunshine with a high near 30°F. Warmer conditions are expected Monday and Tuesday, with highs reaching the mid-40s under mostly sunny skies. However, a new storm system arriving Wednesday may bring snow accumulations of 1–2 inches to areas above 6,000 feet.
Drivers should prepare for worsening conditions by midweek, particularly along Highway 50 and nearby mountain passes, where heavier snowfall is possible. Be alert for updates on travel advisories as the storm approaches.
Looking ahead, cooler temperatures return midweek with a chance of snow showers Wednesday night and into Thursday. By Friday, conditions may shift to rain at lower elevations, further complicating commutes.
Plan your week accordingly, and stay tuned for detailed updates.
