Pueblo, CO — Residents in the Pueblo area should prepare for colder temperatures overnight as a Frost Advisory remains in effect until 8 AM Friday for several counties, including El Paso and Pueblo. Temperatures could dip as low as 33°F, causing potential frost formation across the plains. Sensitive plants should be covered or brought inside to avoid damage.

According to the National Weather Service, widespread frost is expected before dawn on Friday, with temperatures warming up to a high of 66°F during the day. Light winds from the west will help alleviate the chill, but the air will remain cooler than the seasonal average. With overnight lows around 37°F on Friday night, Saturday is forecasted to bring sunny skies with highs nearing 73°F.

Looking ahead, Sunday and Monday will offer even warmer conditions, with temperatures climbing to 80°F and 82°F, respectively. Winds will pick up slightly by Monday, gusting as high as 30 mph, which could lead to patchy dry conditions, especially across the plains.

Though this weekend’s weather will remain mostly clear, the National Weather Service cautions that snow may return early next week to higher elevations, affecting travel near mountain passes. Those planning for Halloween festivities next Thursday can expect mild temperatures, but there’s a chance of precipitation for the beginning of the week.
