Denver, CO – Colorado residents should brace for another hot week as above-normal temperatures and dry conditions continue to dominate the forecast. According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Denver/Boulder, temperatures are expected to reach into the high 90s across many parts of the state, with maximum temperatures in Denver predicted to hit 95°F on Saturday and climbing further to 98°F on Sunday.

The NWS has also warned of elevated fire weather conditions this afternoon, particularly in Larimer and Jackson counties, where areas of smoke from wildfires will be prevalent. These dry conditions coupled with high temperatures pose a significant fire risk, urging residents to exercise caution.

In addition to the heat and fire risks, the weather forecast predicts mainly clear skies with some partly cloudy conditions expected around noon on Saturday. The daily forecast for the week ahead shows consistent high temperatures: 95°F on Monday, 96°F on Tuesday, and peaking at 97°F on Wednesday and Thursday. By Friday, temperatures are expected to slightly cool down to 85°F, with more comfortable conditions continuing into the weekend.
