Wichita, Kan. – The National Weather Service in Wichita reports that colder-than-normal air will dominate central, south-central, and southeast Kansas through the upcoming week. Daytime highs will remain mostly in the upper 30s to mid-40s, with overnight lows dipping into the teens and 20s.

A slight chance of light snow is possible Thursday night, mainly across southern Kansas. Otherwise, the week will feature dry and chilly conditions, with occasional clouds midweek.

Residents are advised to dress warmly and prepare for a continued stretch of winter-like weather lasting into the weekend.
