Wilmington, Ohio — Cold temperatures have settled into the region and are expected to continue for the next several days, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

In a weather update issued at 6:15 a.m. Sunday, January 18, forecasters highlighted very cold wind chills across the area on both Sunday and Monday. Forecast maps show wind chill values dipping into the single digits and below zero, with some locations experiencing the coldest conditions during the overnight and morning hours.

The National Weather Service also notes that blustery conditions are expected Monday, with wind gusts ranging from 20 to 30 mph, which will contribute to the continued low wind chill values.
