Huntsville, Ala. – The National Weather Service in Huntsville reports that very chilly mornings are expected across north Alabama and southern middle Tennessee from Monday through Wednesday, with wind chill values dropping into the 20s each morning.

Rain showers will move into the Tennessee Valley Monday afternoon, continuing into Tuesday morning. A few areas, particularly in northeast Alabama and southern middle Tennessee, could briefly see a rain/snow mix early Tuesday, though no accumulation is expected.

Residents should prepare for cold, breezy conditions and take precautions for pets, pipes, and plants during the early morning hours. The NWS also advises extra caution while driving early Tuesday, as slick spots could develop if temperatures dip near freezing.
