The agency’s early morning forecast issued Wednesday, October 8, calls for daytime highs around 60–67°F before rapidly cooling after sunset. Overnight lows will range from 33–39°F tonight and 34–37°F Thursday night, with frost advisories possible for rural and low-lying areas.
Communities including Fort Wayne, Goshen, La Porte, South Bend, and Defiance are expected to experience the coldest readings, with temperatures flirting with the freezing mark by early morning.
