Pierre, SD – Much of central and southern South Dakota is under a Frost Advisory this morning as temperatures dip near the freezing mark, according to the National Weather Service offices in Aberdeen and Rapid City.
Forecasters report overnight lows between 31°F and 33°F, with widespread frost likely across areas including Pierre, Aberdeen, Winner, Faulkton, Redfield, and Fort Thompson. The advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. CDT (9 a.m. MDT) Monday, October 13.

Temperatures are expected to rebound later in the day, with sunshine and highs in the 50s and low 60s across the state.
