Memphis, TN – Shoppers heading out for Black Friday deals will want to bundle up, as cold and dry weather settles across the Mid-South, according to the National Weather Service in Memphis.
Friday Forecast:
Morning temperatures will start out at or below freezing in most areas before rising into the 40s and lower 50s during the afternoon. Conditions will remain dry with light winds, but after sunset, readings will quickly fall back into the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Weekend Outlook:
A weak disturbance is expected to pass north of the area late Saturday night into early Sunday, possibly bringing a few light flurries to parts of northeast Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel, and northwest Tennessee.
However, forecasters say chances for measurable snow have decreased, with precipitation more likely to fall as light rain. No significant impacts are anticipated.
Looking ahead to early next week, rain chances increase Monday and Tuesday as another system moves in from the west.
