Greenville-Spartanburg, SC – The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg reports that plenty of clouds will keep temperatures on the cool side of normal across the western Carolinas and northeast Georgia today.

Highs will range from the upper 40s to low 50s in most areas, roughly 5 to 10 degrees below average for early December.

A few light rain showers or sprinkles may move through the lower Piedmont during the afternoon, but no significant rainfall is expected.

By this evening, partial clearing should occur as drier air filters in overnight, setting up for a cool but calmer Sunday.
