Cleveland, OH – Rain showers are expected to make travel on I-71 slick tonight, with temperatures dipping into the 40s by Monday morning. The National Weather Service reports rain chances increase late Sunday evening, peaking between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.

According to the NWS, tonight’s showers will clear by sunrise, giving way to a mostly sunny Monday with a high of 58°F. Winds will shift from the south, maintaining mild conditions before another round of showers moves in Tuesday. Tuesday will bring higher rain probabilities, with a 90% chance of showers after 7 a.m. Daytime highs are expected to climb near 62°F, but the rain will make for slower commutes. Low pressure will sweep through the region midweek, dropping temperatures sharply by Wednesday night.

Showers likely persist Wednesday, with highs near 60°F early before colder air moves in. Lows Wednesday night may dip into the mid-30s, bringing a chance of snow flurries by Thursday. Thursday and Friday are forecast to remain chilly, with highs only in the mid-40s and breezy conditions.
