CLEVELAND, Ohio – Warm afternoons and crisp overnight lows will shape the start of the workweek across Northeast Ohio. Drivers heading out early Monday on I-90 and I-71 may notice cooler morning air creating patchy fog in low-lying areas. Keep headlights on and leave extra space on your commute.

According to the National Weather Service, Cleveland will reach a high near 78 degrees Monday under sunny skies, with winds shifting northeast at 9 to 14 mph. Overnight lows will dip near 62, keeping evenings cool and comfortable.

The sunny stretch continues into Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs climbing toward 80 degrees. Morning commuters should stay alert for changing visibility, especially near the lakeshore and along interstates where fog develops quickly. Despite the dry pattern, cooler nights mean residents should consider layering for evening events or outdoor activities.

By Thursday, highs near 81 mark one of the warmest points of the week before skies turn partly cloudy overnight. Rain chances return late Friday with a 30% likelihood of showers, potentially affecting evening plans across the Cleveland metro.

Residents should use the clear, dry conditions early this week to catch up on yardwork, outdoor repairs, or travel before late-week rain. Sunshine and mild air will dominate most of the week, making for ideal fall-like days and crisp nights.

Warnings are not currently in effect, but updates could follow if Friday’s rain chances grow stronger.
