Cleveland, OH – Temperatures across Northeast Ohio will take a noticeable dip tonight as fall air settles into the region. After a mild Saturday afternoon with highs in the 60s, the U.S. National Weather Service Cleveland reports that readings will steadily fall through the 50s and into the 40s overnight.
According to the National Weather Service, most cities—including Akron, Cleveland, and Youngstown—can expect minimum temperatures between 44°F and 48°F by early Sunday morning. Conditions will remain mostly dry, with only a slight chance of a stray sprinkle or passing shower in extreme Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania.
Sunday morning will start cool and crisp, with temperatures gradually rebounding into the mid-60s by afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Drivers and early risers should be prepared for a chilly start, particularly in low-lying and rural areas where temperatures could dip a few degrees lower.
The cooler air is typical for mid-October and marks the start of a week expected to feature seasonal temperatures and mainly dry conditions across the region.
