CLEVELAND, Ohio – Northeast Ohio will dip into the 40s and low 50s overnight before rebounding to near-normal highs by Wednesday afternoon. Clear skies and calm winds will keep conditions cool, especially away from Lake Erie.

According to the National Weather Service Cleveland, lows tonight will run 5 to 10 degrees below average, with cooler readings inland. Cities like Wooster and Ravenna could see temperatures as low as 47°F, while Cleveland and Erie, PA, stay slightly milder in the mid-50s thanks to the lake influence.

By Wednesday, sunshine and high pressure will return temperatures to the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Akron-Canton, Elyria, and Mansfield are expected to top out around 78°F, while Findlay and Fremont could reach 81°F. The weather service says the warmup will bring conditions back to seasonal levels after the unusually cool night.

Travel and outdoor activity should not face any major weather disruptions, though residents may want light jackets in the morning. Conditions will remain dry with no rain expected through midweek.

Cooler air is likely to return by late week, and forecasters say more updates are expected if additional fronts shift across the region.
