Cleveland, Ohio – Drivers across northern Ohio may wake up to patchy fog Saturday morning as high pressure settles in and keeps skies mostly clear through the weekend. Afternoon highs will climb into the low and mid-80s Saturday and Sunday before a sharp cooldown arrives next week.
According to the National Weather Service Cleveland, fog will be most likely in low-lying and rural areas overnight into Saturday, reducing visibility during early travel hours. Conditions will improve quickly after sunrise, with a stretch of dry and warm weather continuing through Monday.
Cities from Cleveland to Toledo and south into Mansfield will enjoy above-average warmth this weekend, though cooler nights in the mid-50s are expected. By Tuesday, highs will fall back into the 70s, and by Wednesday and Thursday, much of northern Ohio will only see upper 60s under cloudier skies.
No significant rain is expected until at least Tuesday, when light showers may brush parts of the region. Until then, the biggest hazard will be foggy morning commutes. Drivers are urged to slow down and use low beams if encountering dense patches.
Warm, sunny conditions last through Monday before a noticeable shift midweek, with cooler air taking hold and more seasonal weather settling in.
