Cleveland, OH – After a stretch of mild and quiet weather, a strong cold front will move through northern Ohio Friday, bringing gusty winds and a period of rain before cooler air settles in for the weekend, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland.
Forecasters say Friday’s system will deliver between 0.20 and 0.50 inches of rain, along with winds gusting 25 to 35 mph. Temperatures will reach the upper 50s to low 60s before falling Friday night.
By Saturday, most of the region will dry out, though scattered lake effect rain showers could linger east of Cleveland and into northwest Pennsylvania, particularly in the morning. Highs will hover around the low to mid-50s under mostly cloudy skies.
Another round of rain is possible Saturday night as a new system approaches from the west.
