Cleveland, OH – Temperatures are expected to gradually rise into the low 50s by Monday, bringing quiet but cloudy conditions to northern Ohio and major corridors including Interstate 90.
According to the US National Weather Service in Cleveland, highs today will range from 38 to 47 degrees with increasing cloud cover. Overnight lows are forecast between 28 and 33 degrees under mostly cloudy skies.
Sunday temperatures are expected to climb slightly higher, reaching 41 to 48 degrees across cities including Akron, Elyria, and Toledo. Clouds will persist for much of the day, though no significant precipitation is anticipated.
By Monday, which marks Washington’s Birthday, highs are projected between 43 and 52 degrees, with partly cloudy conditions developing. Areas along I-71, I-76, and I-75 could see some of the warmest readings in the region.
Monday night lows are expected to settle between 30 and 38 degrees.
The warming trend represents a shift toward above-normal mid-February temperatures, particularly as highs approach the lower 50s in parts of northeast and northwest Ohio.
Travel impacts are expected to remain minimal through the holiday weekend, with dry pavement conditions likely along I-90, I-80, and connecting highways.
Commuters returning from weekend travel and students heading back to classes Monday may notice the milder air compared to recent colder stretches.
Residents are encouraged to monitor updated forecasts at weather.gov/cle as the warming pattern continues into early next week.
