Cleveland, OH – A warm and breezy Saturday across northern Ohio will give way to rain and high winds by Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland. Forecasters say a cold front will cross the region late Saturday night, bringing isolated storms and strong wind gusts through Sunday.

According to the NWS, temperatures Saturday will reach the upper 70s to low 80s before cooler air moves in. Rain is expected to develop overnight, with the heaviest totals likely in northwestern and central Ohio. Some areas could see up to an inch of rain by Monday morning.

By Sunday, gusts between 40 and 50 mph are expected across much of northern Ohio, including the Cleveland, Akron, and Sandusky areas. The NWS advises residents to secure outdoor objects and use caution while driving, especially near Lake Erie, where winds could be strongest.

Temperatures will drop steadily through Sunday afternoon as the cold front moves east. Conditions are expected to improve late Sunday night into Monday, though cooler and breezy weather will continue.
