Springfield, OH – Clark County residents will have an opportunity to safely dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs this Saturday, October 25, 2025, during the county’s Fall Drug Take Back Day.

According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, with two drive-thru drop-off sites:

  • 3130 East Main Street (Springview Government Center Front Parking Lot)
  • 10000 West National Road (Tecumseh High School Parking Lot)

Deputies will collect unwanted or expired medications directly from vehicles, allowing residents to stay inside while dropping off items. Participants can bring medications in their original bottles or remove them beforehand.

The Sheriff’s Office emphasized that safe disposal prevents prescription drug misuse and protects local waterways from contamination caused by improper disposal. No identification is required, and the service is free.

For questions, residents can contact Brian Melchi at 937-521-2068.
