Cincinnati, OH – A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 7 p.m. Thursday to 10 a.m. Friday for southwest Ohio, northern Kentucky, and southeast Indiana, as snow moves into the Tri-State region overnight, potentially disrupting both the evening and morning commutes.
According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, 2 to 4 inches of snow are expected across Hamilton, Clermont, Brown, Butler, and Warren Counties in Ohio, as well as Boone, Kenton, and Campbell Counties in Kentucky and Ripley and Dearborn Counties in Indiana.
The heaviest snowfall is forecast between midnight and dawn, with reduced visibility and slippery roads making travel hazardous. Drivers should allow extra time for both the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.
Officials urge residents to slow down, use caution, and check state road condition websites before traveling — including ohgo.com (Ohio), goky.ky.gov (Kentucky), and 511in.org (Indiana).
By mid-morning Friday, snow is expected to taper off as temperatures remain near freezing, leaving slick conditions on untreated surfaces.
