Cincinnati, Ohio – The Queen City kicks off the new week under clear skies, rising temperatures, and no signs of rain through at least Friday, September 12. For commuters and residents along the I-71 corridor, it’s back-to-back days of sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 80s — but also a growing fire and drought concern as dry weather lingers.

According to the National Weather Service, Cincinnati will see a high near 76°F on Monday, then steadily climb to 87°F by Thursday, with clear skies and minimal cloud cover throughout the workweek. NOAA’s 6–10 day precipitation outlook shows the region locked into a below-normal rainfall zone, which continues a trend already impacting lawns, gardens, and agricultural operations across southwest Ohio.

Winds will remain calm and humidity low — excellent for outdoor plans, but less ideal for soil moisture and air quality. Open burns should be avoided in rural zones of Hamilton and Clermont counties, especially as vegetation continues to dry out.

There are no significant rain systems expected until at least early next week, and the region remains free of thunderstorm activity for the foreseeable future.
