Wilmington, Ohio – Warm, dry conditions are sweeping across much of Ohio today, bringing seasonable highs in the low to mid-70s before a noticeable drop in temperature overnight.

According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, cities like Cincinnati, Dayton, and Chillicothe could see daytime highs between 71°F and 73°F by late afternoon. Areas farther north, including Columbus, Newark, and Sidney, will stay cooler, ranging from 65°F to 69°F. Winds will remain light with no precipitation expected, offering a quiet weather day statewide.

By tonight, however, temperatures will slip into the upper 40s and low 50s. Logan, Kenton, and Celina are expected to bottom out around 48°F, while Wilmington and Dayton will settle near 51°F. With skies remaining mostly clear, radiational cooling could make conditions feel cooler before sunrise Sunday.

Drivers and early risers may want a jacket by morning, especially in northern counties. Outdoor plans today remain ideal, but it’s a good time to check heaters and prep for cooler nights ahead.

No watches or warnings are currently in effect, and the dry stretch is expected to continue into early next week.
