Chicago, IL – A few isolated to scattered showers are expected this afternoon and evening, mainly north of I-88 and near Lake Michigan, according to the National Weather Service in Chicago.

Temperatures will stay cool and seasonable, with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s and overnight lows falling into the upper 20s to mid-30s. Any lingering light rain near the I-80 corridor will taper off late tonight as skies gradually clear.

Sunday will be partly sunny with only a slight chance of showers north of I-80, while highs rise to the low to mid-50s. By Monday, conditions turn dry and mild, with highs climbing into the upper 50s to low 60s under mostly sunny skies.

The warming trend continues into Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing highs in the upper 50s to mid-60s—near or slightly above early November averages.

Forecasters say the upcoming week will feature steady fall weather with no major systems expected through midweek.
