Chicago, IL – After a mild and breezy Monday, the Chicago area will see spotty showers and cooler temperatures return through midweek, according to the US National Weather Service Chicago.
Today will stay mostly dry with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Winds will remain breezy, especially north of I-80. A brief period of rain is expected late tonight into early Tuesday morning.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, periods of light showers will develop, especially near and north of I-80 and along Lake Michigan. Temperatures will range from the low 50s to upper 50s, with overnight lows dipping into the 30s and low 40s.
By Thursday, high pressure will bring dry, sunny conditions with highs in the mid-50s to around 60°F, marking a return to calmer, more typical late-October weather.
