Chicago, IL – The National Weather Service in Chicago predicts a mixed bag of weather for Illinois over the next few days. Today will see light sprinkles in some areas, but most locations will remain dry. Temperatures are expected to range from 75 to 80 degrees, with cooler conditions near the lake.

According to the National Weather Service, widely scattered thunderstorms are anticipated on Sunday in northwestern Illinois. Sunday’s temperatures are expected to climb higher, ranging from 78 to 86 degrees.

Monday and Tuesday will bring increased humidity, with scattered thunderstorms and possible downpours. The chance of storms on Monday is between 40-70%, and temperatures will be between 79 to 88 degrees. On Tuesday, the chance of storms drops slightly to 20-40%, with temperatures ranging from 76 to 83 degrees.

The storm chances lessen by Wednesday, but isolated thunderstorms could still occur in the afternoon. Wednesday’s high temperatures will be between 75 and 85 degrees. The rest of the week looks promising with clearer skies and temperatures hovering in the upper 70s to low 80s.
