Chicago Man Faces Felony Charges After May Expressway Shooting Incident

Chicago, IL – A Chicago man has been arrested for an alleged expressway shooting that occurred in May on the Dan Ryan Expressway. Illinois State Police have charged 37-year-old Terrence Robinson with aggravated discharge of a firearm.

On May 30, police responded to reports of a shooting near 120th Street on Interstate 94 southbound. Robinson allegedly fired a gun at another vehicle. Although the victim’s car was hit, the driver was not injured.

According to the Illinois State Police, U.S. Marshals apprehended Robinson on September 26. He was taken into custody by the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force. The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office has filed charges, and Robinson awaits his first court appearance.

Robinson remains in custody at the Chicago Police Department’s 4th District. Further details have not been released.
