Chicago, IL – Chicago and much of northern Illinois will enjoy an unusually warm stretch to end the week, with temperatures soaring well into the 60s and even touching 70 degrees in some areas Friday and Saturday. Sunshine dominates Friday, offering one of the mildest days of November so far.

According to the National Weather Service Chicago office, Friday’s highs range from 60 to 68 degrees, accompanied by calm conditions and clear skies overnight. Lows tonight will fall into the upper 30s and low 40s across the metro.

Saturday will be the warmest day of the weekend, with highs between 65 and 70 degrees. Clouds will increase through the day, and breezy conditions are expected, though rain chances remain extremely low until early next week. Overnight lows will dip into the low 30s by early Sunday, signaling the arrival of a cooler air mass.

Sunday turns breezy and noticeably colder, with highs dropping to the upper 40s and low 50s. Despite the temperature drop, skies should remain mostly sunny. Lows Sunday night fall into the mid-20s to low 30s across northern Illinois.

Rain returns Monday as moisture gradually increases. Highs will remain in the upper 40s to low 50s with scattered showers possible throughout the day.
