Chicago, IL – NOAA Predicts Excessive Heat for Midwest and Ohio Valley, June 18-24

Chicago, IL – The NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center has issued an excessive heat outlook for June 18-24, with a 40-60% chance of hazardous temperatures in the Ohio Valley and Mid-Atlantic regions.

According to the center, areas such as Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee can expect moderate heat from June 18-20. A broader slight risk extends to much of the Eastern United States, posing a potential threat to public health and safety during this period.

Residents are advised to prepare for the heat and follow any safety guidelines issued by local authorities.
