Chicago, IL Leadership Update: Steve Sise Named New CAA Board President

Chicago, IL – The Chicagoland Apartment Association (CAA) has named Steve Sise, Chief Operating Officer of Golub & Company, as its new Board President following the organization’s December board meeting, where Sise and additional appointees were formally sworn in.

According to the association, Sise assumed the role on Tuesday, December 9, during the CAA’s annual Board of Directors meeting. The board also confirmed its full 2026 executive committee, which includes 15 board members and nine officers representing major real estate firms across the region.

Sise, who has served on the CAA Board of Directors since 2014 and as an executive officer since 2022, oversees Golub’s residential and commercial portfolio. His responsibilities include operational oversight, partnership development, and strategic implementation across the company’s business units. He also serves on Golub’s Investment Committee and has played a leading role in expanding the firm’s residential property management division to 5,000 units.

CAA officials noted Sise’s leadership in establishing Golub’s residential management team in 2016, which successfully launched and leased six new developments totaling 2,500 units. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from John Carroll University.

The CAA’s 2026 executive committee includes First Vice President Jim Cunningham of Marquette Management, Second Vice Presidents Stuart Handler, Steve Rappin, and Dan Gladden, Treasurer Girish Gehani, Secretary Jacob Schumaker, and Members at Large Diana Pittro and Adnan Darr. Gina Fortune-Harmon will serve as Past President.

The Chicagoland Apartment Association represents more than 7,000 industry professionals managing over 308,000 rental units across more than 2,100 properties throughout the region.
