Chicago, IL – Cooler Temperatures, Rain Dominate Five-Day Outlook

Chicago, IL – Chicagoans can expect a noticeably cooler and wetter week ahead, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service. 

Today will bring showers and a few morning thunderstorms, with temperatures dipping into the mid-50s to mid-60s. Rain will taper off by tonight, setting up a dry Friday. However, the potential for periodic showers and thunderstorms remains through early next week, although Friday and Sunday are expected to be mainly clear. 

A gradual warming trend is anticipated, with highs ranging from the low 60s on Friday to the upper 70s by Sunday. Residents near the lake will experience slightly cooler conditions throughout the period.
