Chicago, IL – Chicago residents will face another blast of winter air early Tuesday morning, November 11, as the National Weather Service forecasts wind chills dipping into the mid-teens with a chance for light snow flurries.

According to the US National Weather Service Chicago, a brief period of snow showers or flurries could develop during the morning commute, leaving behind a light dusting in spots. The system will quickly move out, giving way to dry conditions and gradual warming through the rest of the week.

Tuesday’s highs will reach only the mid-30s to mid-40s, with overnight lows falling to around 31°F. By Wednesday, breezy southwest winds will begin moderating temperatures, pushing highs into the 40s and low 50s. The warm-up continues through the end of the week, with highs expected to reach the mid-60s by Friday — nearly a 30-degree rebound from Tuesday’s chill.

Forecasters note that the pattern will stay mostly dry after Tuesday, offering several days of sunshine and mild conditions heading into the weekend.
