According to Sheriff William A. Schrom, Melissa A. Matthews, 34, of Sayre, Pennsylvania, was arrested on October 29 following a traffic stop in the Town of Erin. Matthews allegedly drove while intoxicated with a blood alcohol concentration above 0.08%. She received appearance tickets to appear in Erin Town Court at a later date.

Charles L. Harrison, 38, of Corning, was arrested October 28 on an active bench warrant for failure to appear on a prior charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. The warrant was originally issued by Horseheads Town Court in July. Harrison was arraigned and released.

Also arrested was Blane M. Hurler, 38, of Elmira, wanted on a separate arrest warrant for petit larceny and criminal impersonation in the second degree. Hurler was arraigned by Horseheads Town Court and released following the proceedings.
