Chelan, Washington – A 23-year-old man was arrested after an alleged indecent exposure incident involving juveniles prompted a police investigation.

According to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched March 17 to the area of East Trow Avenue and South Navarre Street following a report of lewd conduct. Juvenile victims told deputies an adult male had allegedly exposed himself while sitting inside his vehicle and provided a description of both the suspect and the car.

Through follow-up investigation, deputies located the suspect’s vehicle in the 300 block of Woodin Avenue. Authorities said the individual was known to deputies from prior contacts and was identified as Isai I. Suarez-Sanchez, 23, of Chelan.

According to officials, Suarez-Sanchez allegedly lived near where the vehicle was parked. Deputies established probable cause, made contact with him at his residence, and took him into custody without incident.

He was transported to the Chelan County Regional Justice Center and booked on charges of indecent exposure to a person under 14 years of age and second-degree criminal trespass, according to the sheriff’s office.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The case may be of particular concern to families, students, and commuters in the area due to its proximity to residential streets.
