Jamestown, NY – A narcotics investigation in Jamestown led to a major drug bust Thursday afternoon after authorities executed a search warrant that uncovered a large quantity of methamphetamine and fentanyl.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, investigators searched an apartment at 168 Barrett Ave., Apt. 1 around 12:25 p.m., where they seized 7.7 pounds of methamphetamine, 5.5 grams of fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and $1,198 in cash.
Deputies identified the resident as Cassandra M. Chadwick, who was arrested at the scene. Investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department, and Dunkirk Police Department participated in the operation.
Chadwick was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd and 3rd Degree, along with Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree. She will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court, officials said.
